Starting a 100 Day Challenge. Key Word - "GO!"

My 100 day challenge is off to a slow start because my son, Rhett, had emergency surgery after being sick for a week. So, despite being two weeks behind on everything, I am up and running!


The surgery was the night before the challenge was to begin. I did virtually no prep prior because both my kids were home sick. (I liken the prep to be similar to planning a trip, mapping out where you are going and packing.) After his surgery I told him my challenge was supposed to start that very day. He said, “Oh well, I guess it’s not going to happen.” I told him that there is no reason to quit or not start at all because things didn’t go as planned at the starting line. You are there, ready to go. Your life up to this point has been all the training you need. It’s like looking down and realizing that your shoes are untied.
