Day Ninety Two

It looks like somehow I lost track of the days. Two days of writing are missing. Well, the only explanation I have is that it's been a whirlwind. I guess that's a good thing. Did Dorothy count the days on her journey? Did she ever sleep? I guess that makes me closer to the finish than I realized. I…

Day Eighty Nine

Wow! Day 89 already. Today is cause for celebration as I recorded my first TV show today! It is important to celebrate the small stuff as well as our major accomplishments. I don't take anything for granted. Celebrating at the end of the challenge will be great but our achievements and even baby steps…

Day Eighty Eight

Running around like a chicken with my head cut off! Crazy getting everything ready for the TV show taping tomorrow. The set doesn't look at all how I wanted it to and I may go to plan B, which is taping in my house. It's more me. Instead of a "Restoration of Spirit" studio show, it might become "At Home With Janet Kohl." We'll see. I'm still experimenting. My flower aficionado is coming through to help me with flowers to boost up the set!! I've got two great guests and I'm…

Day Eighty Seven

As I look around me I see a floor covered in popcorn remnants, interspersed with dust bunnies. Cleaning has not been a huge priority in the last 87 days and may I suggest it never should be. Life is short. Why waste time cleaning? Where really does spotlessness get us? I'm starting to like eating 94% fat free popcorn and dried cranberries, too. However, I'd give myself a big box of chocolates and a nice Pinot Noir, if I didn't have to lose 5 pounds in the next two weeks and if I…

Day Eighty Six

It's time to change. One thing we can count on for sure is change. The seasons change, feelings change and people can change. I believe our mission and vision can change but can our destiny change? In the 70's the Brady Bunch sang, "When it's time to…

Day Eighty Five

Life can be a rose garden or hell on earth. Getting through the thorns of life gracefully can lead us to the glorious heart of the rose. The heart is where I want to reside. Staying tangled in the thorn

s would be too painful.

People and situations were challenging yesterday. I focused on the heart of the rose. I practiced more blessing and releasing. I sent those people and situations love and I woke up feeling filled with love. I released fear, doubt,…

Day Eighty Four

It's a race to the finish line. At the end of a race, runners usually "kick it" and run faster in order to finish strong. It's totally mental and a conscious decision to push yourself and work harder. Knowing the end is near makes it possible for that burst of energy to erupt because you know you won't…

Day Eighty Three

For some of us, surrendering and expecting a miracle can be the hardest part of our journey. It may be the rockiest part of the climb. Why? Because we have to let go of control and hope we don't slip and fall down hill. We just can't seem to trust the process. When we are conscious and aware of our true…

Day Eighty Two

What's the desire behind desire? Why do we want what we want? What do we think our missions, once accomplished will give us? What are we really looking for? How do we think it will make us feel? What experience are we looking for? And where is the…

Day Eighty One

Earnest Hemingway once said, "All you have to do is write one true sentence. Write the truest sentence you know." I say, all you have to do is live your truth. Live the truest life you can. What does it take to get honest with ourselves? To get real? True enough to live our full potential? Our…

Day Eighty

How about a little friendly radiation? Energy radiates from a source. Radiation occurs when energetic particles or waves travel through a space. Radiation can actually change the natural environment of a living organism. If enough high energy can ionize atoms or leave them with a net positive charge,…

Day Seventy Nine

The Cherokee Indians say that when a storm comes, the cow runs away from the storm, while the Buffalo charges directly into the it, facing the storm head on and therefore, getting through it more quickly. It was an intense week full of facing challenges within the challenge. By the end though, I felt good. I…

Day Seventy Seven

Day 77 and 78 are written and I just need to post!

I'm a little behind because of being sick and busy doing lots of great business! Much progress on all fronts and feeling very abundant indeed!

Please come back as I have written two posts and just need to get them up.

Much love to all!

Day Seventy Six

I'm sick and tired and I'm sick and tired of dealing with challenges! I feel like crying, smashing something or screaming really loudly "God, stop it! I'm serious about this dream, already!" I feel like Christopher Reeve - top of my game, about to hurdle a beautiful jump on a horse and splat, I'm paralyzed and there's absolutely nothing I can do about it. Can we rewind?

When the momentary deer in the headlights "oh shit" feeling is gone,…

Day Seventy Five

All this talk about childbirth and being cross-eyed from sleep deprivation is making it very clear that this dream I just birthed is a very demanding baby! Boy, I hope he sleeps through the night after the 100 days are over! Drained, exhausted, sleep deprived, needing to lose ten pounds, can't exercise for the first six weeks though but madly in love and don't ever want to let go. I peek in on him sleeping at night to make sure he's still there. I'm in awe. Is it…

Day Seventy Four

I feel like my head is going to explode. I have been doing so much and on so little sleep that I can't remember what I read in my research versus what I've talked about or what I've actually written. Did I say that, write that or hear it? Then there's did I email that, respond or tell so and so that? I'm losin' it. Everything is blending together. I'm afraid I might repeat myself or write something I've already written! I think that's what editing is for. However, I'm…

Day Seventy Three

Are you ready to birth a dream? There are many stages of creating a passion filled life and realizing our dream. First we live our life up to a point and then conceive, weather we decide to get pregnant or not. Then there is a gestation period and finally an actual birth.

Birthing a dream is no different than birthing a baby. First we live our life not needing to worry about career or dreams or passion. Perhaps we travel down the wrong road…
